Adobe Teaching Certification
As a teaching credential for Santa Rosa Junior College, it was required that I pass Adobe’s Certified Expert exam. I’m really looking forward to inspiring students (hopefully) this fall.

Remembering Ms. Goldi
My beloved pup, Goldi, passed on two years ago today. She was a special soul and I miss her. I went through some old photos and thought I’d share them here. RIP Goldi Bear.

Scott McDowell and Hyde Street Studio C
San Francisco-based recording engineer and music producer extraordinaire, Scott McDowell, invited me to a unique private listening party last month. The format of these events is simple: gather talented musicians who have never worked together, give them an afternoon to craft an original one hour set, and then perform it for an intimate, in-studio audience that evening. The show is slated for eventual radio syndication. Amazing gathering in a legendary setting. See gallery >

EatLove Quick Start Guide
San Francisco start-up, EatLove, is changing the way dietitians and their patients address healthier eating patterns using artificial intelligence. Premium members needed a branded experience to introduce them to the power of EatLove PRO. This multi-page brand booklet was part of that experience. Eat it up!

Wildfire into Wildflowers
Northern California was ravaged by deadly wildfires last Fall. The destruction and recovery has been unimaginable and has affected everyone in our strong communities. My county supervisor asked me to design a logo for an effort to re-seed the charred Sonoma County landscapes with wildflower seeds to help spawn a brighter spring bloom from the ashes. Though the project did not pan out, the creative effort to help the community was inspiring. See concepts >

Camina Gillotti
Sonoma County-native and wellness entrepreneur, Camina Gillotti, requested a brand refresh for her blooming practice. Her name and reputation matter greatly in the community and the new look needed to evolve with subtle iconography and color.

The Ville | T-Shirts
Riding the Warriors branding theme, San Francisco has The City, Oakland has The Town, Marin has The County—clearly Guerneville needed The Ville. Buy now in the "merch" tab above!

Fundraising for Standing Rock / #nodapl
In an effort to raise money and awareness for this important cause, I designed and hand screen-printed these posters. It was a small run of 16. 100% of proceeds was sent directly to water protectors. In just two weeks, with a base cost of $15/each, the campaign generated over $650.
Bidgely | Backlit Tradeshow Backdrop
Engage attendees with large-scale software graphics and an interactive touchscreen that highlights the benefits of their end-user energy consumption software.
Stem Brand Book
This little piece helped drive home a new brand look and feel to internal teams at stem.

Stem | Custom WordPress Theme Design
WordPress has been a staple in my service offering for almost a decade. Commercially speaking, the platform is widely adopted and is unsurpassed from a malleability standpoint. In this custom effort for Stem (c. 2015), the objective was to design a compelling, lead-generation focused platform to drive sales and education around a budding technology and industry.

Stem | Software UX/UI Design
Stem's value as a pioneering energy storage provider is reinfoced by their best-in-class software offering.
Eames Dreams
I've always been somewhat obsessed with the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman from Herman Miller. So I decided to make a screen print honoring it. Limited edition of 20.

Band Merchandise
Screen printed concert posters used to be commonplace back in the day. Supervague brings the tradition back to their shows around the San Francisco Bay Area. Branded t-shirts, stickers and hand-painted album download cards are also included on the merch table.

John Barlow's 25 Principles
Fun typography project, laying out timeless and wise statements from the revered Grateful Dead Lyricist, John Barlow, who first penned these words at the young age of 29.

Official Burning Man Sticker | 2009 - 2011
I guess this was my 15 minutes of fame... well, more like 45 :-) My designs were proudly chosen three years in a row out of a global design competition, marking the official sticker for the annual arts festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.

Some logo designs
Perhaps the most requested project in my experience—the logo. I've had the opportunity to work with organizations that have nothing representing them visually, and others who simply need a refresh. An intimate process that I insist remains fun throughout.

Sun Microsystems | Field Guide
Sun Microsystems asked for a conference take-away that conveyed a new philosophy company leaders were communicating to the broader Sun team. What better way to lead a group than with a field guide? Complete with elastic strap. The initial print run was later quadrupled given the immense popularity of the piece.

echo mountain park | Outdoor Ad
Going way back in time, echo mountain still prides itself as the "closest ski and snowboard area to Denver". In their first-ever ad campaign, I was tasked with directing a billboard campaign that captured the bootstrap/indy effort they wanted to capture.

Dirty Dishes | Event Flyer
Marketing support for San Francisco-based pop-up food and music events.

You Scream I Scream | Album Art Concept
Sometimes concepts make portfolios, too :-) This was one of a couple designs conceived for an East Coast-based rock band.
